Valentine’s Day TV Specials and Movies for 2015

Valentine’s Day weekend has arrived, and while many may be visiting their local cinema in celebration of the romance-centric holiday, it must be observed that there are many appropriately themed films, special and TV episodes that will be airing on stations all over.

For those who will be at home, this definitive schedule covers the gamut of programming that emphasizes love. All times are EST.

Friday, February 13

*11 a.m. “The Price is Right,” CBS – This special episode features exciting prizes that include matching wedding bands and dream vacations to Mexico, Fiji and Italy.

*2 p.m. “The Talk,” CBS – Candace Nelson, a judge from Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars,” will be appearing to prepare delicious desserts for Valentine’s Day.

*4 p.m. “Be My Valentine,” Hallmark (2013) – A boy (Christian Martyn) requests the assistance of his widowed firefighter father (William Baldwin) in securing the affections of a classmate at school, and the man learns a few things about love in the process from a local florist (Natalie Brown).

*8 p.m. “The Lost Valentine,” Hallmark (2011) – A television journalist (Jennifer Love Hewitt) profiles an older woman (Betty White) whose U.S. Naval pilot husband has been missing since World War II.

*8 p.m. “Be My Valentine Charlie Brown,” ABC (1975) – In this classic, Charlie anticipates the acquisition of a valentine, while Lucy hotly pursues Schroeder’s attention.

*8:30 p.m. “A Charlie Brown Valentine,” ABC (2002) – The development of Charlie’s pluck is exhibited as he attempts to experience romance with the little redheaded girl.



Saturday, February 14

*8. a.m. “#BaeDay,” Fuse – For eight hours, Fuse will continuously air a music video selection that revolves around romantic and sensual tunes from many genres.

*10:30 a.m. “Boy Meets World” - “My Baby Valentine,” MTV2 – This 1999 episode of the beloved series has Cory trying to provide a meaningful holiday for Topanga, however she insists on throwing a baby shower for Amy instead.

*7 p.m. “What’s New Scooby-Doo?” – “A Scooby-Doo Valentine,” Boom – The Mystery Inc. crew searches for teenagers who have gone missing around the Coolsville Lovers’ Lane.

*7 p.m. “Valentine's Day,” Slice (2010) – In Los Angeles, various members of society experiences the ups and downs of love. Featuring an ensemble cast, including Jessica Alba, Bradley Cooper, Jamie Foxx, Topher Grace and Anne Hathaway.

*10 p.m. “Saturday Night Live” - “The Valentine’s Special,” NBC

*10 p.m. “Cupcake Wars” - “Valentine’s Day,” Cooking – Romance icon Fabio judges culinary creations that will be presented at a couples’ wine tasting.

*11:30 p.m. “Family Guy” - “Valentine’s Day in Quahog,” Cartoon – Meg tries out online dating, while Stewie travels back in time to the 1960s.
